Wat Chiang Mun
Wat Chiang Mun is Chiang Mai’s oldest temple. Established by the city’s founder, Phaya Mengrai, sometime around 1300.
Whether you’re a dog or a cat in Buddhist Thailand, you spend your time very relaxed. Dogs will often sleep right in the middle of a busy city sidewalk and people just step around them. Due to strong reincarnation beliefs, stray animals and people get along quite well in Thailand. Here, the grass is no doubt cooler for nap time than the sidewalk.
