7 miles north of the Old City is a serene area perfect for biking and picnics.

For the last few miles of the stretch, dedicated one-way bicycle lanes have been installed next to the highway

You can drive/bike all the way around the lake. It’s as interesting
on the outer perimeter as the lake side view.

A lot of Thais come here to eat and hang out in these structures located all around the lake

Once in your shady structure, you order food/drinks (including beer) from a menu. This is a typical lakeside mini restaurant. Free Wi-Fi is also available.
